Logo redesign for established and growing psychology practice

Established and growing psychology practice undergoing a logo rebranding. 

I am looking to have a new logo designed for my growing practice. I want something that can stand the test of time, something that is eye-catching, a blend between serious/professional and fun/lively.  Words that come to mind are simple, modern, maybe hand-drawn. This logo will be used on the outside of the building, the website, business cards, letterhead, etc. I like the idea of having something creative with the presentation of the text (maybe a mix of fonts, maybe where the letters are imposed on one another? but not a requirement and open to ideas). I’m open to images though this isn’t a requirement but I don’t want any of the cliche images for the psychology field (no hands cupped together, trees, etc.). Looking for an eye-catching, yet timeless logo design. Open to both color and black/gray/white designs. I'd like the design to be memorable so clients can see it and instantly recognize our company, much the same way Publix, Coca-Cola, etc is. The practice is professional and very client focused. People come to us with their deepest and most challenging struggles, so the design cannot be too playful as it needs to reflect this, but also not too "serious."
