Unwynd Remedies as said in the design brief is a new start up company of holistic herbal remedies that offers simple solutions for life’s biggest problems. They offer remedies to reduce stress & anxiety, enhance sleep, boost immunity and more. Their goal is to provide a natural, effective product inspiring anyone to be healthy. Their target audience is made up of women and mothers who are natural health minded and looking for non toxic and healing remedies to help them and their family thrive.
They were looking for a clean, stylish and simple logo. They want the logo/brand to reflect the purity of small batch, handmade, quality products and the art behind it, the natural aspect, the fact that it is a beautiful gift to treat anyone.
To get their desired logo design they started a design contest on 110Designs and offered only $110 as the prize-money for their company logo design. They were open for either serif or sans serif, or a mix of the two fonts including the options to use typewriter or vintage letterpress fonts. For colors, they asked the logo should work well in both black on white, and white on black, look good on kraft style paper, etc.
After revising one of their favorite logo designs they finally decided to go with a logo that really represents their company at best. In 7 days contest duration they received a total of 77 design entries from 28 designers all over the world in just $110.
