| Description: | Healthy Communities of Pierce County (www.healthypierce.org) is a non-profit organization working to increase health prevention efforts in our region. To that end, we are sponsoring a conference of regional stakeholders to come together to learn, share and help build our local food system to be stronger and healthier. We want to increase access to healthy foods and decrease hunger in our citizens. This conference will be the first of its kind, and we plan to use our logo annually to market/brand this meeting each year. |
| CH Wants: | The logo will contain the title and subtitle of the conference: "South Sound Food Summit: Building Connections for a Healthier Food System" Mt. Rainier is an icon of our region, and one thought we had is that the designer could play with the "mm" in the word "Summit" to depict this somehow. Additionally, we want to portray something about food, whether it be fields, farms, fresh produce, or any other creative ideas the designer may have for depicting the food system. We'd like more emphasis, of course, on the main title, with the subtitle smaller case or less emphasis. We'd love something edgy or different! |
