Currently this shop (mancave.com.tw) carries motor oil, oil filter, replacement auto/motorcycle parts. Although it sells parts now, it is highly likely to expand business into mens cloth, accessories, watches,...etc., in the near future. Please keep this in mind when designing.
It is not selling the products to men, its selling a life-style, or life-styles to them through an elegant, modern, and stylish web store (not yet available)
I am open to all designs and will promptly add my feedbacks to all designs submitted. This said, I do have a design in mind, described below in bullets
- it starts with "lion king" logo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_King_(musical) I like the etching style of the lion
- in stead of lion, there will be a Jaguar (as the "man" in mancave)(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar), in this post (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar#/media/File:Junior-Jaguar-Belize-Zoo.jpg)
- this Jaguar is sitting handsomely on a piece of upward incline rock in front of an (abstract) "cave" (google lion king images you will find many)
- company name (mancave) will be placed in a place such that the Chinese equivalent (型男車庫) can be swapped in while keeping the same logo style. (you can have two versions, one in English, one in Chinese)
- tough but elegant at the same time (think David Beckham wearing Tom Ford suit)
- color: use jaguar color palette (gold/black). calm, manly, and smart. lion king muscial logo is a good start. Other color palettes suit philosophy welcome.
